Gunman Kills One at Colorado Megachurch, Four Others Wounded

A gunman opened fire on worshippers at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs on Sunday afternoon, killing one and leaving four wounded before a security staff member was able to hill the shooter.

The shooting in Colorado Springs came on the same day a shooter killed two members of a Christian missionary training organization and wounded four in Arvada, Colorado.

There were close to 7,000 people in attendance at the megachurch when the late service let out shortly after 1:00 pm. Two of the injured worshippers have been said to have life-threatening conditions.
