Phoenix High School Placed on Lockdown after Teenager Spotted with Gun

Horizon High School in Phoenix, Arizona was placed on a temporary lockdown after a student reported he saw a teenager carrying a gun on school grounds.

The lockdown at Horizon High School began shortly before 9:00 am and was lifted at 11:00 am while police searched the campus for the individual.

It was not known if the lockdown was lifted because police apprehended an individual or if it was lifted because the report of a gunman was a false alarm.

Horizon High School has approximately 2,300 students.
