Tennis Star Martina Navratilova Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Nine-time Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova has revealed to People magazine that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Navratilova earned 18 Grand Slam singles titles and is considered one of the greatest players to have ever taken the court. In addition to her singles titles Navratilova earned 31 Grand Slam doubles titles and 10 Grand Slam mixed doubles titles.

According to the report in People magazine Navratilova’s prognosis is said to be excellent,
