2010 Masters Tee Times Thursday: Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus Get Things Started at Augusta National, Tiger Woods Tee Time in Late Afternoon
Getting the 2010 Masters started will be Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus who take to the tee box at 7:40 a.m. ET. From that point on the fight will be on. Craig Stadler will be the first owner of a Green Jacket to tee off after Palmer and Nicklaus as he begins at 8:01 a.m.
Last year’s winner, Angel Cabrera, will start his chase for a second Green Jacket at 10:24 a.m. as part of the second wave of groups getting started. Cabrera has been paired with Jim Furyk and Byeong-Hun. They will be followed by Phil Mickelson, Robert Allenby and Y.E. Yang. Mickelson has a pair of Green Jackets and is always a threat to win a major.
The third wave of groups will begin at 12:14 p.m. with Vijay Singh, the 2000 Masters champion, leading the trio that includes Jason Dufner and Sean O'Hair. About an hour and a half later Tiger Woods will begin his pursuit for a fifth Green Jacket and 15th major.
Woods has been paired with Matt Kuchar and K.J. Choi, a group that many believe to be favorable for the world’s number one golfer.
