iBio, Inc. (OTC:IBPM) has announced that it has been granted the right to use it’s iBioLaunch platform supporting a $5.3 million government funded project to develop a vaccine against anthrax and plague. Fraunhofer USA Center for Molecular Biotechnology (CMB) will manager project under the terms of the long term agreement between iBio and CMB for the advancement of iBio technology. iBio’s chairman and chief executive officer, Robert Kay, believes that the program will demonstrates the technology’s ability to produce products quickly, effectively, and economically.
