Jesse James Enters Treatment

Like Tiger Woods and other troubled celebrities before him, Jesse James has sought professional help by checking himself into a treatment facility, People.com reports.

The scandal that began earlier this month when reports surfaced that James cheated on his wife, recent Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, with as many as four different women. During that time, there has been no mention of an addiction – either a chemical dependency issue or a behavioral issue like sex addiction – until it was reported that James entered treatment.

"Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues," his rep said in an exclusive statement to People magazine. "He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage."

While self-discovery and confronting issues head-on can only help any individual, this latest news seems to follow the Hollywood trend of celebrities entering rehab without any specified addiction.
