Canadian Pacific Railway (NYSE: CP) Names Two Executives

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (NYSE: CP) named Edmond L. Harris as the company's new executive vice president and chief operations officer, according to Associated Press.

 

Harris, a retired executive at Canadian National Railway Co. (NYSE: CNI), will be in charge of railroad operations, safety, customer service, engineering and mechanical services throughout North America.

Harris spent 30 years with CN, retiring in 2007 as executive vice president of operations.

 

Canadian Pacific also named Jane O'Hagan as the company's senior vice president of market and sales and its chief marketing officer.

 

Its shares fell $1.24, or 2.1 percent, to $56.70 in Tuesday trading.
