Colorado rail train collides with coal train

A Southwest Corridor Light Rail train collided with a derailed coal train in Littleton, Colorado early this morning. Nearly 30 passengers were on the rail train at the time of the collision. No injuries have been reported.

The front car of the rail train was knocked off the tracks and coal cars were overturned. The Regional Transportation District put rail passengers on buses to finish their commute to downtown Denver.
