The giant sucking sound experienced by Internet users across the globe came to a halt as Starr Tincup principal J. (the “J” in JPIE) William Tincup bellied up to the proverbial blog bar and ordered a tall drink of delicious human capital canon.
Known for his up-to-date knowledge of the web, William, when asked to comment, stated his belief that adding another blog will bring verifiable validity to the human capital space.
“The addition of this new RSS functionality to JPIE will force people in the human capital space to really have a passion for what I have to say,” William said. “I mean, who wouldn’t? Have you heard the latest on that internet thingy? The buzz is all about blogging. So, it only makes sense that I came to this medium to create a sounding board for my marketing brilliance as it applies to human capital companies.”
Dwamian McLeish, Joe Galvan and Shawn Franklin, the team that did all the actual work to develop the site, released a brief statement earlier this week.
“It’s nice to be thought of as ‘the slaves that built the pyramids.’ Not one person could tell you who those pyramids were built for. It’s the dirty guys in the trenches that capture the imagination. Could you haul a four-ton boulder; or, the modern equivalent, build a blog? Didn’t think so. ”
Dwamian went further to say, “Essentially, we were forced to develop jpie.com because we work for him, but basically it’s like every other blog on the Internet; you read it once or twice and never come back. Basically, I just let Shawn do all the work and sat back to supervise. It’s very Web 2.0.”
When contacted, Shawn had been detained in a hospital and was unavailable for comment due to convulsions caused by exact pixel width of columns, designing a site in 800x600 and being the one responsible for training William on how to use a blog.
The other designer, Joe Galvan, was nearly mute but with far less cause. His only comment on the website was that he “really like the animated logo. It’s cool.”
Modern slavery, feats of inhuman strength and draughts from the canon. The conclusion is that the world is left with yet another blog to read and subscribe to.
