Toddler Gets Trapped Inside Baggage Conveyor Belt System at Manchester Airport

After escaping the less than watchful eyes of her parents, a two-year-old girl found an empty check-in desk at the Manchester Airport and jumped on the baggage conveyor belt system used to send travelers luggage to departing planes.

The toddler became trapped in the conveyor belt yet suffered only minor cuts and bruises.

After discovering their daughter was missing the parents alerted officials in the airport yet it wasn’t until an engineer investigated why the baggage conveyor belt system was jammed that they found the girl.

She was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for the cuts and bruises but it was unknown if the girl had passed through the x-ray machine.
