Karyn McConnell Hancock Not Harmed in Abduction

Karyn McConnell Hancock, the missing pregnant Ohio attorney who was found three days after she was reported missing, was not physically harmed, according to her husband.

Hancock, the daughter of a Toledo judge, says she was kidnapped at gunpoint by two men and a woman because they wanted to punish her.

Lawrence Hancock, Karyn McConnell Hancock's husband, said her kidnapping was retribution for a case her father took up before he became a judge.

The 35-year-old woman, who is six months pregnant with her second child, disappeared Wednesday from Toledo and was found Saturday behind the Six Flags Over Georgia amusement park near Atlanta. Her car was found nearby. Police said she was last seen outside a juvenile court building in Toledo and reported having been abducted.

The woman's father is Toledo Municipal Court Judge C. Allen McConnell. Lawrence Hancock said he doesn't know anything about the case that may have triggered the abduction.

Karyn McConnell Hancock was blindfolded and allowed to eat just one meal a day. It is uncertain if the abductors knew of her pregnancy. The identities of the abductors has not been determined yet either as she was blindfolded.
