Airline Stocks soared in Early Trading on Thursday with reports stating that United Air Lines Corp. (NASDAQ:UAUA) and US Airways Group Inc. (NYSE:LCC) have been discussing a merger. US Airways currently leads Airline Stocks with impressive gains of 13%. (NASDAQ:UAUA) stock came close to beating its Annual High in premarket trading.

 

US Airways (LCC 7.69, +0.87, +12.76%) and United Airlines (UAUA 20.66, +1.71, +9.02%). AMR Corp. (AMR 8.79, +0.24, +2.81%) gaining 3.7% to $8.87. Continental (CAL 21.25, +0.75, +3.66%) up nearly 5% to $21.47, JetBlue Airways(JBLU 5.76, +0.03, +0.56%) up 2.6% to $5.88.
