U.S. Stocks made impressive gains to reach a session high on Thursday, April 08, 2010 following reports that led investors to make some concrete bids for the Treasury's 30-year bond auction.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI:^DJI - News) was up 35.90 points, or 0.33 percent, at 10,933.42. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index (^SPX- News) was up 3.03 points, or 0.26 percent, at 1,185.48. The Nasdaq Composite Index (NASDAQ:^IXIC-News) was up 4.97 points, or 0.20 percent, at 2,436.13
As for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration… they stated that on Thursday that it has received nearly 1,200 complaints within the last 10 years about equipment that distributes radiation treatments to cancer patients and has reached out to certain Manufacturers to assist in extinguishing the products hazard malfunctions.
