Masters at Augusta National: Tom Watson Fires 67 to Top Early Leaderboard

Tom Watson rolled back the clock and fired a five-under 67 in his opening round at the Masters on Thursday, grabbing the top spot on the leaderboard.

Watson, 60, captured his second Green Jacket at Augusta National in 1981 and his last victory at a major was in 1983 when he won the British Open. His run on Thursday was truly impressive as he opened with a birdie on one and went on to birdie 3, 15, 16 and 18 to complete his day.

While Watson is atop the leaderboard he is closely followed by Lee Westwood who sits at four-under through 16 along with Phil Mickelson and Y.E.Yang who are both four-under through 14.

Tiger Woods opened his Masters with a one-under through three holes.
