Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) added 0.47% to $32.14 on 16.48 million shares. The NAACP announced that it is ending its lawsuit against Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Since 2007, the NAACP has filed lawsuits against more than a dozen of the largest financial institutions alleging violations of the Fair Housing and Equal Credit Opportunity Acts and racial discrimination.

National Bank of Greece (ADR) (NYSE:NBG) dropped 4.02% to $3.58 on 9.78 million shares amid worries that falling deposit levels and widening sovereign bond spreads in the country are making it harder for the lenders to continue funding their operations.

 

Lloyds Banking Group PLC (ADR) (NYSE:LYG) lost 1.26% to $3.91 on 4.68 million shares. Dow Jones reported that Lloyds TSB Bank PLC, part of Lloyds Banking Group plc has priced a EUR500 million tap of its floating rate note (FRN) due March 25, 2013 at par. The bond pays investors 120.5 basis points over three month euribor.

 

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) soared 0.79% to $45.68 on 16.19 million shares. The company is set to enter the corporate banking space in India, offering a suite of services such as providing working capital, cash management solutions, foreign exchange and hedging tools. There will also be an element of retail operations, though liability led, and financial inclusion.
