Standard & Poor’s Replaces 3Com

Standard & Poor's announced Wednesday that it is making several changes to its indexes, according to Associated Press.

 

NewMarket Corp. (NYSE: NEU) will replace 3Com Corp. (NASDAQ: COMS) on the S&P MidCap 400 index and Dolan Media Co. (NYSE: DM) will replace NewMarket on the S&P SmallCap 600 index after trading finishes on Monday.

The changes come as a result of 3Com's acquisition by Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ).
