Dead Triplets Removed from One-Year-Old’s Abdomen

Doctors in Indonesia initially diagnosed a young girl’s stomach ailment as tumors but later discovered the one-year-old was carrying the remains of her two deceased siblings.

While the triplets were developing in the mother’s womb the two became attached to the one surviving girl. At birth it was unknown that the surviving baby was to be one of three, leaving doctors to believe the child suffered from abdominal tumors a year later.

After examining the girls abdomen doctors discovered a body complete with the exception of limbs and a head with hair.

The surgery to remove the bodies was a five-hour process and the girl is now in stable condition.
