Linkin Park to Kickoff European Tour in Hannover, Germany at the TUI Arena

Grammy Award winning rock band Linkin Park will kick off the European leg of their 2008 world tour at the TUI Arena in Hannover, Germany on Jan. 16.

With more than 50 million albums sold world-wide, Linkin Park has established themselves as one of the preeminent rock bands recording today. In 2007 the band released Minutes to Midnight which sold over 600,000 copies in its first week and landed at number one on the Billboard Charts.

Linkin Park has been heavily involved in promoting “green” causes and performed at Live Earth Japan earlier this year and donated part of their proceeds from their 2007 collaborative tour Projekt Revolution to American Forests.

The band will have shows in France, Switzerland and the UK before opening their North American tour Feb. 12 in Omaha, Nebraska.
