American International Group Inc. (NYSE: AIG) announced Thursday it elected Henry S. Miller to its board of directors, according to Associated Press.
The appointment expands AIG's board to 13 members.

Miller, 64, is the managing director and co-founder of investment bank Miller Buckfire & Co, and he is the CEO of its Marblegate Asset Management business.
Prior to founding Miller Buckfire, Miller was Vice Chairman and a Managing Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he served as the global head of the firm’s financial restructuring group.
Miller was also Managing Director and Head of both the Restructuring Group and Transportation Industry Group of Salomon Brothers.
