Al Sharpton Target of Federal Raid

Al Sharpton has become the target of a federal investigation involving financial records related to his nonprofit group, businesses and his 2004 presidential bid.

Authorities have subpoenaed financial records and at least ten Sharpton associates. Those ten individuals are scheduled to testify before a federal grand jury on Dec. 26 in New York.

FBI agents handed out subpoenas to several staff workers at the nonprofit civil rights group National Action Network as well as to those who had financial records concerning Sharpton’s private businesses and his presidential campaign bid.
