Former Inmate Kills Girlfriend in Florida, Police Searching Fort Lauderdale Area
Richard Smith, a former inmate who served time for armed robbery and attempted murder, is believed to be responsible for killing his girlfriend on Wednesday at the woman’s house.
The victim’s daughter alerted police that she had been unable to contact her mother and on Thursday morning officers entered the house and discovered the woman dead.
