NBA Schedule Saturday April 10: Carmelo Anthony and Tim Duncan Square Off as Denver Nuggets Host San Antonio Spurs

With less than four games left on the NBA schedule there remains just one playoff position still open and that lies in the Eastern Conference but that has done little to paint a clear picture as to how the opening round pairings will play out.

In the Western Conference the only thing known is that Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers will have home-court advantage throughout, outside of that everything remains up in the air. The Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns are all fighting for the two-seed, with just one game separating all four teams.

The San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder and are all looking for the sixth seed but just one game separates them. On Saturday the picture could become a little clearer as Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets host Tim Duncan and the Spurs.

Denver has won four straight while the Spurs have dropped a pair but with veterans like Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker San Antonio remains a serious threat to any other team in the Western Conference.

In the Eastern Conference the eighth spot is still open but the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls both have off on Saturday. There is still plenty of business that needs to be handled though as the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics battle for the three seed. Atlanta will be dealing with the Washington Wizards while the Celtics have the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks have the number five seed as it stands but they are trying to hold off the Miami Heat who are just one game back.
