MLB News: Stephen Strasburg Makes Minor League Debut for Washington Nationals

Stephen Strasburg, the number one selection in June’s MLB amateur draft, made his minor league debut on Sunday for the Double-A Harrisburg team.

Strasburg pitched five innings, striking out eight while consistently throwing between 97-98 mph. The big righty also walked a pair of batters and gave up four hits while allowing four runs, just one of them earned.

Strasburg left the game leading 5-4 after throwing 82 pitches.
