Daughtry to Perform at War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro, N.C.

Daughtry, fronted by former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry, will be performing at War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro, N.C. on Friday, December 21, wrapping up a series of shows before joining the Van Halen tour in February.

The bands debut, self-titled album hit number one on the Billboard 200 and became the fastest selling debut rock album in Soundscan history. Worldwide sales have neared four million for Daughtry with hit singles including “It’s Not Over” and “Home.”

Daughtry has been nominated for four awards at the 50^th Grammy Awards set to take place Feb. 10, 2008. They are nominated for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song (“It’s Not Over”), Best Pop Performance, and Best Rock Performance.
