Wisconsin Man Ordered to Quit Playing Music in Public after Sex Offense

Randall Shesto II, a 21-year-old Waukesha, Wisconsin resident, was ordered to refrain from playing in a band in public by a judge who determined he had used the music as a tool to lure underage girls into sexual relationships.

The five-year ban on public performances stems from a June conviction in which Shesto, who performed with the heavy-metal band Nailwounds, was found guilty of second-degree sexual assault of a child. In that case Shesto was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl.

In the sentencing Judge Ralph Ramirez ordered that Shesto serve one month in prison and take part in a work release program for 11 months. The musician was also handed a five year probation and must now register as a sex offender. As part of his sentence Shesto can not have access to a cell phone or the Internet.

Shesto had previously been convicted of having sex with another 15-year-old.
