Michael Vick House Fails to Sell at Auction

The Virginia house from which Michael Vick operated his dogfighting enterprise went unsold at an auction on Saturday.

Vick had sold the house to real estate developer Wilbur Ray Todd Jr. for $450,000 earlier this year but Todd wasn’t satisfied with Saturday’s top bid of $747,000 and will now list the property.

In 2002 Vick bout the 15-acre plot of land and built the 4,600-square-foot house. Along with the main house, the property also has four outbuildings, a full-sized basketball court, and several dog cages.

The house itself has two master suits, hardwood floors, jetted tubs, a large kitchen, and a two-car garage. According to Todd, a house that size on that much land would cost more than $1 million.

Vick is currently serving a 23-month sentence for his role in the dogfighting operation.
