Santonio Holmes Suspended and Traded to the Jets

Holmes to Miss First Four Games for Jets

The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded former Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes to the New York Jets for a fifth-round pick in this year’s draft.  The newest Jet said that he “was very shocked at first,” but that it “opened up a lot more doors and a better opportunity for [him] to start over.”  Holmes, however, will not start at the beginning of the regular season, as the NFL had already suspended him for the first four games for violating substance abuse policy.  New York’s general manager felt that despite Santonio Holmes having to miss the first four games, “it was worth it.”

Jets fans rejoice, because Hollywood Collectibles offers a variety of authentic Santonio Holmes memorabilia.  This Santonio Holmes memorabilia includes autographed photos, an autographed mini helmet, and an autographed football jersey.
