NBA Schedule Tuesday April 13: Steve Nash and Phoenix Suns Battle Carmelo Anthony and Denver Nuggets with Playoff Spot on the Line
At the end of the night the Phoenix Suns could be in the third seed spot for the Western Conference playoffs and in position to have home-court advantage or they could be the number five seed and face the prospect of having to travel in their playoff opener. While the Suns have a lot at stake their opponent, the Denver Nuggets, have just as much.
Steve Nash and the Suns will be hosting Carmelo Anthony and his Nuggets and while Denver is still fighting for the number two spot with the Dallas Mavericks a loss on Tuesday could drop them to number five and in a bad spot for the upcoming playoffs.
While the Western Conference playoff picture is still a mess the Eastern Conference isn’t any clearer but much could be settled on Tuesday. In the only Eastern Conference game the Boston Celtics will be traveling to face the Chicago Bulls. Boston still has hopes of the number three seed but needs a win to stay a game behind the Atlanta Hawks. The Bulls need a win to stay ahead of the Toronto Raptors for the final spot in the playoffs and a loss would cause serious damage to those hopes.
