Michelle Obama Making Unannounced Visit to Haiti

Michelle Obama is traveling to Haiti in what is to be her first overseas visit without her husband, President Barack Obama, since he took office last year.

The unannounced visit will take Michelle Obama to Port-au-Prince and include stops at several projects that were set up following the devastating January earthquake that left more than 230,000 dead and much of the city in ruins.

The First Lady will then travel to Mexico for a previously scheduled visit that is to last for three days.
