Born in Vernon, Connecticut in 1975, Hilary earned her MFA in painting at New York Academy of Art in Manhattan and studied additionally at other schools including The University of Hartford Art School, Richmond College UK, Rhode Island School of Design, and The Art Students League of New York. She has studied with well known artists such as, Vincent Disiderio, Eric Fischl and Jenny Saville and worked as an artist's assistant to Jeff Koons. Hilary Robin Schmidt currently works and resides in New York City.
