After Grammy-Award Winning Album, Steve Martin Plans Next Release

After his 2009 album “The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo,” won a Grammy Award, Steve Martin is ready to get started with the next.

Martin is and his group, the Steep Canyon Rangers, is planning to enter the studio this August for an album release in early 2011.The Steep Canyon Rangers will in the studio with producer Tony Trischka.

Martin is set to begin touring April 19^th in Detroit and even has a gig scheduled for the Bonnaroo Music Festival.  He has already begun releasing previews of some of his new material at his live shows.
