Mary J. Blige headlines the new release list for music Tuesday as she comes out with her eighth LP, Growing Pains. The album contains her hit "Just Fine", which has Blige nominated for a Grammy.
Rapper Lupe Fiasco releases his second album Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. The album is a semi-concept album that adds to the stories and aura of his first album, Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor. His debut received critical acclaim, but was a disappointment in sales due in part to a huge leak prior to its release.
Chingy has made up with former mentor Ludacris and is back with the rapper's Disturbing Tha Peace label. His latest LP, Hate It or Love It, features Ludacris, Rick Ross, Ice Cube, Trey Songz, Amerie, Bobby Valentino, and Anthony Hamilton.
R&B crooner Jaheim releases his fourth LP, The Makings of A Man a year after his 2006 album Ghetto Classics debuted at #1. His album features R. Kelly, Babyface and Keyshia Cole.
Johnny Greenwood, Kirk Franklin and Tool also release albums Tuesday.
