Holistic addiction treatment reconnects self for continued sobriety

Continued sobriety success rates on the increase with holistic addiction treatment

Many times, the word “holistic” conjures up a variety of images, some positive, others negative. Negative images are merely stereotypes - dangerous stereotypes that may actually prevent a person from achieving a life of sobriety.

Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center began an approach to addiction treatment that was truly innovative. Mountainside combines traditional 12-step and evidence-based therapies with holistic addiction treatment forming an innovative approach to addiction treatment.

“When we first began our
holistic addiction treatment program, some people questioned the idea and potential for this treatment,” begins a spokesperson for Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center. “They stood in the wings, if you will, waiting to see how and if our program would evolve. When they began seeing the success rates of our program, they took a bit more notice. When Drug Czar John Walters invited us to the White House and gave Mountainside national recognition, our program became the blueprint for drug addiction treatment programs.”

Mountainside’s innovative holistic addiction treatment program is custom designed for each client. Upon entering Mountainside, each person is evaluated by a team of professionals who help create a treatment plan that will be most beneficial for the individual. Aspects of the holistic addiction treatment program include Yoga, Tai Chi, Guided Meditation coupled with traditional therapies to assist the individual in taking a look at their own vision of health and healing for long-term sobriety.

For nearly two decades, Mountainside
Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center has led the way in offering individualized alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs. Pioneers in affordable drug addiction treatment, Mountainside combines cutting edge therapies with holistic treatment methods including inclusion of traditional 12-step therapies. As Mountainside’s licensed and certified counselors, social workers and treatment team serve, they strive to provide quality, compassionate care to each individual in a tranquil, peaceful environment conducive to optimal recovery.
