Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) Unit Receives $119M Pact Extension

HP Enterprise Services, a unit of Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ), reported Wednesday that it received a $119 million technology services contract extension from the Kansas Health Police Authority, according to Associated Press.

 

The two-year pact has two one-year options as HP will continue to oversee the authority's customer service call center in Topeka, KS.

HP will continue to enroll providers and process about 19 million claims annually for the state. The company administers $95 billion in benefits a year, and serves as the fiscal agent or principal information technology provider for Medicaid in 22 states.
