GEICO has announced the eight winners for its 23rd Annual Safety Belt Poster and Video Contest. The winners include Darwin Lau, Amanda Cho, Colleen Song, Nahun Kim, Michael Franck, and Jessie Havice. They will all receive $650 and an additional $500 for art supplies and materials for their schools. An additional 75 students have also be selected to receive cash prizes ranging from $50-$150 for top honors in regional competitions. The judges for this year’s competition include Amy Schick of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Suzie Angulo from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and Chris Noel of the graphic design firm Particle.
