Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) has announced that the US Air Force has awarded it with a power reliability contract. Pursuant to the terms of the contract, Eaton will provide power reliability products and complete turnkey services such as engineering, project management, system integration, installation, training and onsite maintenance services for the US Air Force’s Air Logistics Center at the Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The project has the potential to be worth as much as $568.7 million. The total amount will be divided among two suppliers over the life of the five year contract. There is one single two year option period in the contract.
