Rielle Hunter is allegedly pregnant with the baby of Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards. According to the National Enquirer, Hunter is six months pregnant.
Hunter denies that Edwards is the father, and Edwards denies the affair.
Edwards has been married to wife, Elizabeth, for 30 years. His wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Conspiracy theorists believe that the scandal was published because Roger Altman, a key owner of the National Enquirer, is a large backer to the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Altman was an official for the Bill Clinton administration, and his name is often mentioned as a possible Clinton Treasury Secretary.
