Top Semiconductor Stocks Trading Higher (YGE, INTC, AMD, MRVL, NVDA, SOLR)

Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:YGE) climbed 3.99% to $13.54. The company today provided updates on Fine Silicon Co., Ltd. ("Fine Silicon"), its in-house polysilicon manufacturing facility with a designed annual production capacity of 3,000 metric tons ("MT"). The Company also announced that Mr. Xiaoqiang Zheng will take over the position of Chief Operating Officer, replacing Dr. Seok Jin Lee who has resigned to pursue other interests.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) gains 2.17% to $24.03. The stock today also touched a new 52 week high at $24.06. So far in this year the stock has surged 16%.

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD) added 1.01% to $10.01.  Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $3.17 to a high of $10.04.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) rose 1.02% to $22.78. The stock today also touched a new 52 week high at $22.80. So far in this year the stock has surged 9%.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) increased 1.34% to $18.12. Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $8.33 to a high of $18.96.  The company announced today that it is awarding $250,000 to 10 top Ph.D. students to help solve complex visual and parallel computing challenges. Each student will receive $25,000, as well as engineering and technical support, to further their advanced research in these fields.

GT Solar International, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOLR) surged 4.88% to $5.59. Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $4.42 to a high of $9.04.
