Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT) has announced the appointment of Caroline Stockdale as the company’s senior vice president of human resources. The appointment will be made effective as of April 30, 2010. She will report to Medtronic Chairman and CEO, William Hawkins. She will be responsible for Medtronic’s worldwide human resources function, which includes global talent initiatives, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and compensation and benefits oversight. She will also serve on the company’s executive committee.
