Paul Karason, a 57-year old Oregon man, has turned blue after using silver extract to treat a skin condition.
Karason's skin was fair and freckled 14 years ago until he developed a skin dermatitis. He began to use a collodial silver extract to treat the condition.
The product is made from extracting silver from metal into water with an electrical current and it is then taken as a drink.
Karason says his skin discoloration did not come from the use of the collodial silver, but came as a result of him rubbing the extract directly onto his face.
