Starting his career at 15, the well known explorer Will Steger rode went from Minneapolis to New Orleans in a motor boat along the Mississippi River. Next year he will be leading an expedition through the Canadian Artic. Accompanying him will be six young explorers between the ages of 21 and 28. Why? Steger's theory is that younger people have the technology, ability and the know how to get peoples’ attention and make them see the effects of global warning. He wants to show them the condition of the planet's environment in the hopes that they will do the same.
Throughout their expedition the team will leave cameras to record the effects of global warming and post the results on their website, www.globalwarming101.com.
