American Cornhole, LLC held its First Annual Cincinnati Cornhole Charity Classic on Saturday at the Winter Sports Festival in the Duke Energy Convention Center with the winning team choosing to send the first place cash prize to its favorite Charity. The American Cornhole Charity Classic is open to the business community for corporate team sponsorship.
The day started with various Cornhole skill challenge games for fun. American Cornhole Organization offered Skill Challenge Ranking for all the participants who were not members of the ACO or members who had not been SCR ranked. But when the clock struck 12, it was down to business. The American Cornhole Charity Classic was on.
Eight local companies participated with ten players from each company representing the best of corn hole from the respective companies. Some of the teams had their own company team shirts, and all of them came with a company team attitude. The atmosphere was festive and spirited. The Cornhole Charity Classic provided a venue for corporate employees to get to know each other outside of work while creating corporate team spirit for the cornhole games.
By the end of the day it was the Mighty Mooses Team that overcame the Transport Specialists Team to claim the Charity Classic Championship. And it was the Moose Ohio Special Project that received the cash benefit of the Mooses Team pitch for a cause.
