French Tourists Killed by Gunmen in Mauritania

Gunmen killed four members of a French family who were picnicking on the side of a road while in Mauritania on Monday.

The family had pulled over on the side of the road while vacationing in the North-West African country and was preparing to have a picnic when they were approached by several gunmen.

After robbing the family the men then opened fire, killing four members of the family, the father survived the attack and is being treated for serious injuries in a hospital.
