California Highway Patrol Officer Arrested for Stealing Cocaine from Evidence Locker

Joshua Blackburn, a 32-year-old California Highway Patrol officer, was arrested on Friday after he broke into an evidence locker and stole several pounds of cocaine that had a street value in excess of $1 million.

 

Blackburn is scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday and is currently being held on $4 million bail at the Orange County Jail.

 

After taking the cocaine from an evidence locker in Santa Ana, Blackburn was arrested later in the day in Riverside County and the cocaine was recovered.
