Powers Fasteners Settles Law Suit with Del Valles Over Big Dig Tragedy

Powers Fasteners Inc. has finally agreed to a $6 million settlement with Milena Del Valle’s family Monday night.

Milena Del Valle died on July 10, 2006.  26 tons of concrete fell on her while driving through a tunnel.  Her husband, Angel Del Valle, survived with minimal injuries.

The Del Valle family sued Powers Fasteners Inc. who supplied the fast-drying epoxy that was used, however it was not meant to b used for overhead loads.
