Sandra Lyons went missing Saturday after having a fight with her husband Chris Meyers. The 36-year-old Florida woman left a holiday party Saturday night after the argument, and Meyers reported her missing the next day after she failed to come home.
Police say Lyons was found safe and unharmed at a friend’s house on Wednesday. Authorities launched a ground and aerial search for her on Christmas day, but were unable to find her.
Meyers said their argument was “petty.” He also said Lyons had been depressed and was drinking the night she stormed off. “It was very petty; something that under normal circumstances would’ve gone right away. Friends even thought she was joking but then as the night went on she just kept getting angrier and angrier about it,” Meyers said.
