Ted Cantu’s Economic Predictions Come True In Entrepreneur Magazine

Strong marketing replaces the deteriorating job scene in Michigan

Love him or hate him, Ted Cantu is back with more soul hitting truth with his over the top marketing campaigns. In just the last month Cantu has toppled the Metro Detroit rock music scene with his relentless promotion online. There has been a lot of attention given to Metro Detroit’s green companies in addition to Honda ATV parts, and Yamaha ATV parts dealers. There seems to be no stopping for the marketing marvel that is Ted Cantu.

Recently, there has been some interesting developments in Entrepreneur Magazine. The front cover for the  May 2010 issue boldly suggests that Americans ditch the resume and start selling. There seems to be an evaporation of jobs in this country and the word in the media is to stop looking for work and employ yourself. This is something that Ted Cantu has been telling people to do for the last five years. Ever since the end of the dot com era and the disastrous events at 911 Ted Cantu has turned his back on corporate living and has been showing companies how to survive on the Internet.

“I have predicted the end of corporate life for the last 5 years. Metro Detroit has taught me how to give up on searching for a job and hit the streets. With that comes a humungous learning curve on how to position yourself for major media attention and to turn over a profit. We have done that for 50+ industries.” Says Cantu. “Marketing groups get argumentive with me and even throw me out of their organizations only to come back days later and beg for me to return. I know what’s going on in this economy because I am out there on the street on a day to day basis. I am not hiding in my cube reading the paper. We’re in this economic war. Now our worst fears are confirmed with Entrepreneur Magazine” says master marketer Ted Cantu.

The first thing Cantu tells his clients to do is to get a web video made to promote their company online. The second thing he tells businesses is to take control over their PR. He has cut out a lot of traditional marketing elements including press agents, pay per click spending, Yellow Book advertising, radio advertising, newspaper advertising and other money wasting activities. Cantu  will typically go  for a more direct approach and obtain a more impactful result in any market he chooses.
