NBA Playoffs Schedule Monday, April 19: LeBron James Looks to Give Cleveland Cavaliers Commanding 2-0 Series Lead

The NBA playoffs are now underway and on Tuesday another two games will go in the books as LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will be gunning for a 2-0 series lead over the Chicago Bulls while Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets have their eyes on a 2-0 series lead against the Utah Jazz.

Cleveland had little trouble dealing with Chicago in the opener as LeBron James led the Cavs with 24 points while Shaquille O’Neal returned to the floor after missing an extended period of time due to injury. The Cavaliers jumped on the Bulls early and never faced any real threat despite a 28-point effort from Derrick Rose.

In what was being billed as the best opening round playoff showdown in the Western Conference the Denver Nuggets, lead by 42 points from Carmelo Anthony, beat up the Utah Jazz to take Game 1 of their best-of-seven series. The Jazz will look to even things up on Monday but things could be tough without center Mehmet Okur and questions surrounding Carlos Boozer.
