Marty Tankleff is Free to Go

Marty Tankleff is free to go home after spending nearly half of his life in jail for a crime he did not commit.  Released with a $1 million bail Tankleff celebrated with his friends and family.

Marty Tankleff was convicted of murdering his parents.  However, the Appellate Division of State Supremem Court in Brooklyn unanimously decided to overturn his 1990 convictions.  New evidence pointed to someone else as the murderer.

Tankleff made this statement, "My arrest and conviction was a nightmare. This is a dream come true.  I've always had faith that this day would come."
