Terry Armour, the popular Chicago Tribune columnist and former co-host of WCKG-Radio’s Stan & Terry Show, died on Friday at the age of 46.
Armour began his career with the Chicago Tribune as a copy clerk in 1980 but worked his way up the ladder and eventually became one of the paper’s most popular columnists.
The Entertainment writer collapsed at work on Friday from an apparent heart attack and was rushed to a local hospital. Armour was pronounced dead upon arrival.
While Armour penned columns for the Arts & Entertainment section he gained a national following as a beat writer covering the Chicago Bulls from 1995-1999.
